A main church, a Collegiata, or even Pieve di S. Andrea, founded within 1093, still preserves a moo a portion of the original arcaded facade around black, white & coloured marble. the works of art which it another time contained come virtually all of the babies preserved within a gallery close by. A bit of of the more churches contain interesting works of art. A chief square is surrounded by old houses by owning arcades. A painter Jacopo Chimenti (Jacopo da Empoli), 1554-1640, was natural on this text. Empoli is on the independent railway line from either Florence to Pisa, and is the point of roc of the line to Siena.
